I want to share a story with you.
Not a business story.
Not a marketing secret.
But a spiritual principle that radically changed my life — and completely transformed the way I make, steward, and grow money.
But first, let me be honest with you…
I wasn’t born into money.
I didn’t marry rich.
And for a long time, I had no idea how I would ever become financially free — especially as a widowed mother of two.
But then… something happened in 2022.
I created one product.
And that product — powered by divine wisdom — changed everything.
It helped me scale to over $1 million in revenue and birthed a recurring income engine that continues to grow to this day.
But none of that came from a marketing course.
Or a business strategy.
Or hustle.
The real foundation of that wealth was spiritual.
It came from one scripture.
And that’s what I want to share with you today.

The Parable That Changed Everything
The scripture that changed my life is the Parable of the Talents — found in Matthew 25:14–30.
I had read it many times before.
But one day, God opened my eyes to a deeper layer of meaning.
Let me break down what He revealed — and the seven spiritual wealth principles inside this story that I now live by.
Principle 1: All Money Belongs to God (Matthew 25:14)
“A man was going on a journey and entrusted his wealth to his servants.”
The key word here? Entrusted.
You don’t own money.
I don’t own money.
God does.
Every business idea.
Every paycheck.
Every bonus.
Every asset…
It all belongs to Him.
We are stewards, not owners.
When you truly understand this, you stop hoarding. You stop fearing. You stop misusing what’s been entrusted to you.
You begin to ask:
“Lord, how would You have me use this resource?”
That’s when wealth begins to flow.
Principle 2: We Don’t All Start the Same (Matthew 25:15)
“To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two, and to another one — each according to his ability.”
This part set me free.
Not everyone starts with the same resources, opportunities, or timeline.
My mum used to say, “Pam, all fingers are not equal.”
And she was right.
Your journey is custom-built. Stop comparing your path to others.
When I launched my main brand The Lucrative Lady in 2019, within months:
🟡 My husband was made redundant
🟡 Then, he fell into a coma
🟡 Then, he was diagnosed with cancer
🟡 And eventually, he passed away
Yet, somehow… the money never stopped flowing.
God carried the business — even when I didn’t have the capacity to.
I learned: My journey is mine. Yours is yours. And it’s all by divine design.
Principle 3: Move Fast With What You’re Given (Matthew 25:16)
“The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work…”
Key phrase: at once.
When God gives you an idea, don’t delay.
Money loves speed.
Obedience requires action.
And delay is often just a disguise for fear or self-doubt.
You were given that idea for a reason — not your neighbour, not your mentor, you.
So jump in the deep end. Trust God to help you swim.
Principle 4: Fear Will Keep You Stuck (Matthew 25:18, 25)
“But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master’s money… ‘I was afraid.’”
Fear leads to inaction.
Inaction leads to delay.
And delay kills destiny.
The moment fear crept in — this servant buried his gift.
And many of us are doing the same.
We say:
🟡 “What if I fail?”
🟡 “What will people say?”
🟡 “What if I’m not ready?”
But here’s what I now believe:
If the idea came from God, He will carry it.
I’ve felt this fear too. Even recently, as I built a new business, the enemy whispered doubts:
“Will this even work?”
But then I remembered:
“Every good and perfect gift is from above.” (James 1:17)
“The blessing of the Lord maketh rich and addeth no sorrow.” (Proverbs 10:22)
So I stopped burying the vision and started building it — scared but faithful.
Principle 5: Faithfulness Brings Promotion (Matthew 25:23)
“Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.”
This is the secret to multiplication.
I didn’t grow my YouTube overnight.
It took eight years to break 3,000 subscribers.
But then I stayed consistent. I was faithful.
And suddenly — it grew to 23,000+ subscribers in just 3 months.
I didn’t have qualifications in business.
What I had was faith, obedience, and follow-through.
That’s how God promotes: faithfulness over perfection.
Principle 6: God Expects a Return on His Investment (Matthew 25:27)
“You should have put my money on deposit with the bankers…”
God isn’t looking for your money.
He’s looking for your obedience, your testimony, your glory-giving.
When He gives you an idea or gift, it’s not a suggestion.
It’s an investment.
He expects you to do something with it — and then come back and give Him praise when it bears fruit.
Principle 7: Abundance Is a Kingdom Principle (Matthew 25:28–30)
“To the one who has, more will be given… but from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.”
This is deep.
Abundance expands. Scarcity shrinks.
If you hoard your gifts, your money, or your energy, it dies.
If you invest and multiply what you’ve been given — it grows.
God doesn’t bless laziness. He blesses stewardship.
So if you’ve been wondering:
“Why hasn’t anything changed financially?”
Ask yourself:
“Have I been multiplying what I’ve been given… or burying it?”
Final Thoughts: Your Calling Was Never Meant to Stay Buried
There’s a reason Jesus ends the parable with judgment.
“Cast that worthless servant into outer darkness.” (Matthew 25:30)
That’s heavy.
But it shows how serious God is about your calling.
You were never meant to play small.
You were never meant to stay hidden.
You were never meant to bury the dream He put in your heart.
Let’s not add more unfulfilled potential to the graveyard.
