Don’t guess — borrow what already works.
2. Practice guiding someone through the framework.
This builds your confidence fast. You can coach 2–3 friends or even role-play with yourself.
3. Use a template to start every session.
This removes the fear of “what do I say next?”

But if you’re new or feel “short” in your journey, you just need a stepping stool.

Start in Facebook groups that align with your niche (e.g. parenting, health, mindset). Provide value and build relationships. Then invite people into conversations.
Option 2: Use Upwork to Get Coaching Clients (Yes, Really)
Most coaches overlook this platform, but Upwork is one of the best places to get paid fast as a beginner coach.
Here’s how to set up your Upwork coaching profile:
1. Sign up as a freelancer → Choose “Life Coach” as your category
2. Write a simple, friendly bio
3. Add sample coaching questions or frameworks
4. Set your rate at $50/session to start
5. Use a professional photo (you can use AI headshot tools)
Next → Apply to entry-level coaching jobs and use this script to get hired faster:
Bonus: Write the Perfect Cover Letter (That Gets You Hired)
Here’s a quick template:
Line 1: Use their name
“Hi Jane, I’m excited about your coaching project.”
Line 2: Get straight to the point
“I specialize in helping [insert your coaching niche]…”
Line 3: Show your process
Attach sample coaching questions or a framework
Line 4: End with a call to action
“Let’s hop on a call and discuss further.”
