How to gain clarity to increase your income
Clarity means being absolutely clear on your path and what it is you are doing and where you are headed in your business.
One of the reasons Coaches and Consultants struggle to enrol clients is because their messaging isn’t clear, therefore, it does not resonate with their ideal clients.
You know what to do…hit that ‘Play’ button now…
Who are your ideal clients?
Who is it you would absolutely LOVE working with? Another way I answer this question is to think ‘What type of person NEEDS what I have to offer’?
For example, if you’re a Fitness Coach and you help people lose weight without having to step foot in the gym, who is it that needs fitness but yet doesn’t want to or doesn’t have the time to hit the gym?
- Mums (as a mum, going to the gym is the very last thing on my list so I opt for home workout videos and going for a run in the morning
Write down a list of groups of people who fit the profile of what you have to offer. Having clarity on this is KEY.
What are their ‘Pain Points’
Let’s imagine you did go with ‘mums’ and you specifically drilled down to ‘mums with young children under the age of 5’
What are her pain points? If she could wave a magic wand, what would she REMOVE or REPLACE in her life?
What is she struggling with right now?
What are their ‘Desires’
Once you write a list of all the ‘pain points’ you can think of, next is her ‘Desires’
What does she WANT?
If she could have her wishes granted (regarding the solution that you offer) what would she ask for?
What transformation do you help them achieve?
Having Clarity to 1, 2 and 3, you should find #4 very easy.
I want to share with you 3 Steps to getting the Clarity that will move your business forward. However, before I do that, I want to send you one of my most highly-sought-after gifts.
Pop your name and email below and I'll whizz it to your inbox.
Here are 3 Steps to getting more Clarity:
1) Focus on what you already have
Too many coaches are unclear about what they actually do, In deciding what you ‘DO’ one of the questions I ask is
What have you done in the past?
Who have you helped?
You may find that your ‘genius’, that ‘thing’ that you are supposed to be helping your clients with is right in front of you.
2) Get streamlined and focused
It goes without saying that Social media Marketing is incredibly powerful for attracting your ideal clients. However, most people start out wanting to ‘conquer’ the world.
You need to be streamlined, it means you should not engage in so many platforms when you're starting out
At this initial stage, DON’T spread yourself so thin. Focus your efforts on mastering the language of 1 or 2 social media platforms
Working on too many things at the same time is not only exhausting but decreases your efficiency.
3) Don't get distracted by other people’s success stories
Stop getting distracted by the success of others. By all means, use these as ‘inspiration’ but remember, we all have different paths on our journey.
I'd also add, follow only one person (ok, maybe a couple of people in your niche) instead of following too many people.
Following ONE person helps you to achieve your goal fast because you are not chasing every ‘shiny object’, getting sidetracked and distracted.
